When Royalty Visits

The site was still under construction at the time and the construction team pulled up the floor coverings to make it more appealing for the Prince.

After he had walked through, the builders, painters and plasterers went back to work. They refrained from putting the floor coverings down again and as you can imagine the plaster-dust and paint, was walked into the new Basalt floor.

When the finishing touches were being made, they soon realized what had happened. They had other companies come in to try and clean the floor, without success.

Then they approached Natural Stone Restoration, we worked long days over the weekend periods for seven weeks to bring the floor back to a new condition.

We then sealed the Basalt with an impregnating sealer, to protect it from spillages and general foot wear.
